Win an online writing course in Lothian Life's competition for short stories about home
Entries can come from anywhere and writers do not need to be Scottish or live in Scotland, but all the stories must include the line 'There's no place like home.' The competition will be judged by Marianne Wheeleghan (pictured), the author of The Blue Suitcase and the Scottish Lady Detective series, who runs online writing school writingclasses.co.uk
The winner will receive their choice of an online writing course starting in January at writingclasses.co.uk
Stories should be a maximum of 500 words on the theme of 'home', and must be original and unpublished. Writers may enter up to three times. Entry is free.
The closing date is 13 November.
