The Crediton Short Story Competition, run by the Crediton Food and Drink Festival, is inviting entries with a food theme
The winner will receive £50 and a night at the award-winning Lamb Inn, Sandford. The winning story will be published in Riptide. There is a second prize of £50.
Entries to the Crediton Short Story Competition should be original, unpublished stories up to 3,000 words on the topic of food.
There is an entry fee of £5 per story. Send stories by email.
The closing date is 24 April.
