There's a £500 first prize and the top ten winners will have the opportunity to be featured on Penny Shorts
The Chip Lit fest Short Story Competition is for short stories up to 3,000 words. It will be judged by Tessa Hadley. Stories should be for adult readers, and may be on any subject and in any style and genre.
The prizes are £500, £100 and £50. The top ten stories will have the opportunity to appear on story showcase site Penny Shorts.
There is an entry fee of £5 per submission.
The closing date is 15 March.
