The contest invites writers from outside the UK to create audio drama for an international audience
There are two categories: English as a First Language and English as a Second Language. The two first prizes can come from either category.
Both winners will receive a cash prize of £2,500 and attend an award ceremony in London and see their plays recorded before being broadcast and streamed on BBC World Service.
To enter, submit a script approximately 53 minutes in length (45-65 pages, wordcount 9,000-10,000) with a maximum of six central characters. Scripts must be original and must not have been professionally produced.
Entry is free.
The closing date is 12 February 2023.
