The winner will receive the £6,000 Carne Prize and a guaranteed production at Theatre503
Submissions are open for the award for debut and early career playwrights throughout June 2024.
Playwrights submitting for the award should not have a full-length professional production credit (ie for a play that has had a run of three weeks or more and that has received national press coverage).
Writers may submit one full-length (at least 65 mins stage time), original, unperformed and unproduced play.
The winner will receive £6,00 and a £3,000 advance against 8 per cent of gross box office of a guaranteed production of the winning play at Theatre503.
