West Yorkshire's major producing theatre is open to submissions of unsolicited play scripts until 26 June
The Playhouse says: 'We want a large, noisy space for new writing at West Yorkshire Playhouse. A space that nurtures bold, new voices and that supports rich and diverse stories about where we live in Leeds, in Yorkshire and in the world.'
Submissions may be plays of any length by new writers, who may be local or based anywhere in the UK or even internationally. All scripts should be original and unperformed, and may be for adult or child audiences. Scripts must be written for stage performance.
The WYP has two reading windows each year. The closing date for this submission window is 26 June.
