Scripts from Black writers in the UK are invited for Talawa Firsts and the Talawa Writers' Programme
Talawa Theatre is the UK's leading Black-led theatre company.
• The Talawa Firsts Festival champions new theatre talent in the fields of writing, directing and theatre making.
• The Talawa Writers' Programme is a development initiative that partners with other companies, commissions three new works per year and supports the development of writers accepted onto the programme.
Talawa has three script submission windows each year. Writers may send one script per submission window. Send scripts as Word or pdf documents with a covering letter.
This Talawa Theatre Company submission window closes on 31 October.
