Applications are invited from published authors to mentor three young writers between 14 and 17
Scottish Book Trust is looking for a Scotland-based author as part of its Young Writers Awards programme, which provides tailored support for writers between 14-17.
The successful candidate will support the project in various ways, including mentoring the three young writers at a retreat at Moniack Mhor.
Applicants must live and work in Scotland, have a track record of fiction commercially marketed, sold and distributed in Scotland, and have a commitment to working with young people.
There is a fee of £3,500.
The closing date for Young Writers Awards Mentor is 21 March.
