This weekend's conference at Oxford University is in honour of Turkey being the market focus country at the 2013 London Book Fair

It has been organised by The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism in association with Oxford University, and will take place on 1 and 2 March.

The two-day conference will consist of four panels: contemporary Turkish literature; translating Turkish literature; Turkish literature in all its colours: other voices, and the reception of Turkish literature.

The Turkish National Organising Committee stated: We are thrilled that the richness of Turkish literature will be under the spotlight at this conference, giving a pre-taste to the forthcoming London Book Fair 2013 when Turkey will be its market focus.'

The London Book Fair will take place between 15 and 17 April.
