As part of The Reading Agency's Reading Groups For Everyone campaign, it is setting up a new book club selection panel for BBC2 Radio Book Club.
'Simon Mayo’s Radio 2 Book Club has an extraordinary reach, and we’ll be profiling its featured titles on our Reading Groups for Everyone website (www.readingroups.org) to inspire groups to read along with the show. Combining the power of broadcast with real time reading group experiences in very different communities will be hugely powerful' said Miranda McKearney, director of The Reading Agency.
Publishers are invited to submit the two fiction titles per imprint due for publication next spring (2014) that they think will most appeal to the show's 15.4 million audience.
The closing date  for this is 16 October. Books should be sent to Rose Vickridge, The Reading Agency (BBC Radio 2 Book Club), The Free Word Centre, 60 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3GA.
