Platypus Press is inviting submissions of poems and prose poems about hurting and vulnerability

'We want poetry that hurts the way bodies do,' say guidelines. 'The vulnerability of self and the nature of being. A Portrait in Blues is about you. The way your heart & mind & limbs ache in the dark.'

Contributors whose work is selected for Platypus Press's A Portrait in Blues anthology will receive a print copy.

Send up to five unpublished poems and/or prose poems by the closing date of 30 April.
