The theme of this year's contest is 'Hope in Nature'
The Shepton Showdrop Festival contest is for poems that reflect the power of nature and the hope it brings.
There are prizes in three age groups: 11s and under, £50; 12 to 17, £70; 18 and over, £200. This year's judge is Pascale Petit.
Enter original, unpublished poems in any form, up to 30 lines.
The entry fee is £4 per poem for entrants by poets over 18. Entry in the young poets' categories is free.
The closing date is 9 January 2022.
