Win a first prize of £2,000 in the poetry competition from The Morrab Library and The Dennis Myner Trust

The Patricia Eschen Prize for Poetry is an international competition inviting entries of  poemS on any theme.

As well as the contest for poems up to 40 lines, this year features a new sonnet prize. In the open category, there is a first prize of £2,000, a second prize of £1,000 and a third prize of £500. The sonnet prize is £1,500. The competition will be judged by Katrina Naomi (overall judge) and Jodie Hollander (sonnet prize).

All entries must be original and unpublished.

The entry fee is £5 per poem. One entry per person is permitted,

The closing date is 19 July.
