Enter poems on the theme of healing to raise funds for the Lord Whisky Sanctuary

The Lord Whisky Sanctuary is an animal charity in Kent that provides shelter for homeless, injured and abused animals and veterinary care for those on low incomes.

50% of the fees received will go to the animal sanctuary, and the other 50% will fund the prizes. The first prize is 25% of the entry fees, with second and third prizes of 10% and 5%. There are also 5% prizes for a poem on a rescue animal or an animal sanctuary and its work, and for a poem by a previously unpublished poet.

Enter original, unpublished poems up to 40 lines on the 'healing' theme.

The entry fee is £5 per poem.

The closing date is 7 June.
