The competition will be judged by Rishi Dastidar and has a first prize of £1,000
The annual competition from the Kent and Sussex Poetry Society is for original, unpublished poems on any subject, up to 40 lines. Judge Rishi Dastidar's most recent collection is Saffron Jack (Nine Arches Press).
There is a first prize of £1,000, a second prize of £300, and a third of £100. Four runners up will each win £50.
The entry fee is £5 per poem, or £4 each for three or more poems.
The closing date is 31 January 2021.
