The first prize in the contest from Girton College is £700
Now in its 14th year, the Jane Martin Poetry Prize is for poets aged 18 to 30.
The winner will receive £700 and the opportunity to read their poems at a celebratory event. The runner up will receive £300. The 2024 panel of judges will be led by poets Abigail Parry and Bohdan Piasecki.
Previous winners may be read in the book Celebrating Poetry at Girton, which celebrates ten years of the Jane Martin Poetry Prize.
Entry is free. Each poet may send up to two poems totalling no more that two sides of A4.
The closing date is 15 March.
