Poetry prize: The Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Competition

The annual competition from Munster Literature Centre has a first prize of €2,000

The Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Competition is for original, unpublished and unbroadcast poems up to 40 lines.

The winner's prize is €2,000, a featured reading at the Cork International Poetry Festival in March 2021. There are second and third prizes of €500 and €250, and ten runners up each get €50. All the winning entries will be published in Southword.

The entry fee is €7 per poem or €30 for a batch of five.
