Win a £200 first prize for poems on any theme

The Gloucestershire Poetry Society 2023 Open Poetry Competition is being run by Black Eyes Publishing UK in conjunction with the Gloucestershire Poetry Society.

The prizes are £200, £80 and £40, plus a Friendship Prize of £30. The four winning poems will be featured in Steel Jackdaw Magazine. The judge is Helen Ivory. All longlisted poems will be eligible for the 2024 Competition Anthology.

Enter original, unpublished poems on any theme, up to 40 lines.

The entry fee is £4 per poem or £13 for four poems.

The closing date is 31 July.
