The competition from Sussex Poetry Society is celebrating its 70th anniversary
The Crabbe Poetry Competition is for poems by writers born, educated or resident in Suffolk, Norfolk or Essex, or who are members of Suffolk Poetry Society.
There is a first prize of £500, a second prize of £250 and a third prize of £100, plus two highly commended prizes of £50. All winning and commended poems will be included in the 2024 Crabbe Poetry Prize Anthology. This year's judge is Luke Wright.
All entries must be original, unpublished and no longer than 50 lines.
The entry fee is £4 per poem.
The closing date is 14 June.
