The competition from Currock Press has a £100 first prize

The annual Red Shed Open Poetry Competition invites entries of original unpublished poems no longer than 50 lines.

There are first and second prizes of £100 and £50. Shortlisted poets each receive £20. There is also a Wakefield postcode prize of £25. The sole adjudicator for this year's contest is Carole Baldock.

The entry fee is £3 for the first poem and £2 for subsequent poems.
