Poetry prize: Fool for Poetry International Chapbook Competition

There is a first prize of €1,000 and publication

The annual Fool for Love International Chapbook Competition from Munster Literature Centre is open to new, emerging and established poets from anywhere in the world. One of the winners will be a poet who has not previously published a solo collection (either full-length or chapbook).

The winner will receive €1,000, and the runner up, €500. Both winners will receive chapbook publication and 25 copies. The winning chapbooks will be published by Southword Editions and launched at the Cork International Poetry Festival.

Enter manuscripts between 16 and 24 pages of poems in verse or prose.

The entry fee is €25.

The closing date is 31 August 2021.
