The competition for the best poem for children has a £1,000 prize
The annual Caterpillar Poetry Prize is for the best poem for children aged 7-11. It's awarded for a single poem of any length and on any subject.
The winner will receive £1,000 and the winning poem will be published in the summer issue of The Caterpillar. This year's judge is Naomi Shihab Nye.
All entries must be original and unpublished.
The entry fee is €14 per poem.
The closing date is 31 March.
