In addition to cash prizes, digital artworks will be created to illustrate the winning poems
The Poems Please Me Prize is an open competition for poetry betwen 12 and 28 lines. There is a first prize of £300, a second prize of £200 and a third prize of £100. Highly commended poems will be awarded £30.
Winning and commended poems will be published online. The Artists' Quarter (TAQ) will create digital art to accompany winning, commended and any other published poems.
There is a fee of £5 for the first entry, £9 for two, £12 for three and £14 for four.
The closing date is 1 October.
