Win a first prize of £5,000 in the major international award for ecopoetry

The annual Gingko Prize, the world's largest ecopoetry prize, is inviting submissions of original, unpublished ecopoetry.

There is a first prize of £5,000, a second prize of £2,000 and a third prize of £1,000.

For the the third year in a row, the additional AONB Prize of £500 will be awarded for 'Best Poem of UK Landscape'. This prize is free to enter for writers who have already entered the 2023 Gingko Prize.

The entry fee is £7 for the first poem and £4 for each additional poem.

The closing date is 25 March.
