The competition, which launched last year, is in memory of Professor Bill Overton, who died in 2012. The proceeds will fund an early-career poet in residence for Loughborough University.
The Overton Poetry Prize 2015 will be given for a sequence of poems, up to 300 lines, on a subject of the poet's choice.
The winner will be published in chapbook form and there will be two runner-up prizes of £50.
All entries must be original and previously unpublished.
There is an entry fee of £10.
The closing date is 17 April.
