With a first prize of €10,000 for the best single poem, get your entries polished for this major poetry award
The competition, which is run in association with The Moth literary magazine and will be judged by former US Laureate Billy Collins, invites entries of poems of any length.
In addition to the €10,000 first prize, three runners up will each win €1,000. The four shortlisted entries will be published in The Moth.
All poems entered for the Ballymaloe International Poetry Prize must be original and unpublished. Any poet may enter as many poems as they like. There is an entry fee of €12 per poem.
The closing date is 31 December.
