Win a four-week run at Southwark Playhouse and a £6,000 commission for your next play
The Papatango Prize is for new, original and unperformed theatre plays of at least 70 minutes. The winning play will be given a four-week production at Southwark Playhouse with 10% of the gross box office income, publication by Nick Hern Books and a £6,000 commission with developmental support for their next play.
Entries must not have received a professional production in any form, anywhere in the world, apart from an absolute maximum of three rehearsed/staged readings or workshops. Amateur productions do not apply.
Entry is free. Submit scripts for the 2017 Papatango Prize by the closing date of 5 March.
