HighTide are looking for bold new plays about contemporary life.
The two winners will receive feedback on their plays from HighTide's artistic director Stephen Atkinson and literary associate Stephanie Street, and a public reading at HighTide's London offices. If a play is deemed to be exceptional, it may have the chance to be remounted at the HighTide festival in Aldeburgh in 2016.
The competition is for full-length theatre plays of a minimum one-hour duration.
Writers may only enter one script. To enter, all writers must be a member of IdeasTap (membership is free).
High Tide Festival Theatre is a leading producer of new plays, and the UK's only professional theatre focussed on the production of new playwrights.
The closing date is 23 February.
