The Poetry&Words stage at Glastonbury Festival is inviting applications from experienced writers and performers

Glastonbury is the world's biggest greenfield arts festival and Poetry&Words is the only stage there dedicated to poetry. If you'd like to apply to perform during this year's festival, send a short bio and between one and three video or audio files of you performing your work, preferably to a live audience (web links are preferred). Only one application is accepted per person. Don't send text in any form because the judges need to see the performance aspect.

People selected to perform at Poetry&Words will receive a small fee, but overseas applicants in particular should be aware that Poetry&Words is unable to pay travel expenses. Booked performers will get a festival ticket for themselves (not guest tickets) and a camping pitch backstage of the Poetry&Words tent.

The closing date to apply to Poetry&Words is 3 March.
