Paws n Claws Publishing announces writing competition for children

The contest is for short stories about wild animals by children in years 5 to 11

The winners will be published in a special Paws n Claws anthology called Wild n Free Too.

Stories should be between 500 and 1,000 words and must not be about pets, farm animals or zoo animals. There is an online entry form on Paws n Claws Publishing's website. The closing date is 25 January 2013.

The winners of the 2011 competition have been published in Wild n Free: A Collection of Wild Animal Stories by Children Aged 9-16. All royalties go to the Born Free Foundation.
