The 2018 Book Illustration Competition is to illustrate Arthur Conan Doyle's The Selected Adventures and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes
The Book Illustration Competition is run by House of Illustration and The Folio Society. The winner will receive a £5,000 commission from The Folio Society to illustrate their new edition of The Selected Adventures and Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes. Five more shortisted entrants will each get £500.
From 450 entries, 24 have been longlisted. You can see them here and vote for your favourite in the People's Choice Award. The winner and one member of the public who voted for them will each get £100 worth of books from The Folio Society and a year's membership of House of Illustration. Voting is open up to 19 February.
