National Association of Writers' Groups extends deadline for its Open Poetry Competition

The closing date for the NAWG contest was previously the end of October, but it has been extended to the end of January 2013
The competition is for original unpublished poems in any style and of any length up to 40 lines. The first prize is £250, the second £10, and the third £50.
The closing date for NAWG's short story competition remains the end of October.
