Booker winner Julian Barnes is taking part in a public event on 8 December to raise funds for a charity that helps to rebuild the lives of torture sufferers in the UK
He will be in conversation with Hermoine Lee about his Man Booker Prize-winning The Sense of an Ending. It will be his only public event this year.
Julian Barnes is patron of the charity, and all money from ticket and book sales will go to Freedom from Torture.
The event will take place at 7.30pm at the IET, 2 Savoy Place, London WC2R and costs £18.
