The fantasy writer is recreating poses from sci-fi and fantasy covers that objectify women - with himself as the model

'The way women are portrayed is just so ridiculous, so often, you just stop seeing it,' US writer Hines told the BBC. 'I think posing has made people see it again - you see how ridiculous it is when a 38-year-old fantasy writer is doing it.'

His most recent series of cover poses is a fundraiser for the Aicardi Syndrome Foundation
