Taking place next week, the Guardian's masterclass will give food-loving writers the information they need to set up their own publication
Publisher and journalist Steve Watson, publisher, food journalist and Fire & Knives editor Tim Hayward and publisher, lecturer and The Gourmand editor David Lane - all passionate about food and food writing - will present a three-hour masterclass, offering insider information to help interested writers launch their own independent food magazine.
Topics covered will include recruiting writers, arranging distribution, costing the publication, dealing with PRs and setting up restaurant reviews.
The course will take place from 6.30pm on 9 April at the Guardian/Observer office in London, and costs £39.
