The first prize in this annual poetry competition is £1,000
The Kent & Sussex Open Poetry Competition is for original, unpublished poems of up to 40 lines, in any style and on any subject. There is a second prize of £300, a third prize of £100 and four runners-up will each receive £50.
There is a fee of £5 per peom, or three or more poems for £4 each.
The judge is Pascale Petit (pictured).
The closing date is 31January.
