Entries are invited on the themes of travel, leisure or an inspirational story
There is no minimum word count but the maximum - longer than usual for flash fiction - is 1,500.
The winner will receive £50 and their story will be published in Writing Times. The runner up's story will also be published, and they will win £25.
All styles and genres are accepted for the Writing Times Flash Fiction Competition. There is a fee of £ per entry.
The closing date is 31 July
