Win a $2,000 first prize for environmental flash fiction on the theme 'city in a wild garden'
Stories of the Nature of Cities created its flash fiction competition to imagine and explore visions of how people and nature might interact to create green cities.
To enter this year's contest, submit a story set in the present or the future inspired by the phrase 'city in a wild garden'. The plot must include cities, nature and people. Entries must be fiction, and may be in any genre.
There is a first prize of $2,000. Two second-prize winners each receive $1,000, and three runners up each get $500. The winners and further shortlisted entries will be published in an anthology by Publication Studios.
Entry is free.
The closing date is 1 January 2020.
