The Kidwell-e Festival will include the presentation of the £10,000 award for best unpublished or self-published ebook

The shortlist is: Caposcripti, Zelda Rhiando; Fear and Magic, Peter Poole; Merry Baker, Stephen A Robinson; Curse of Ancient Shadows, Rob Tyson, and Devil's Chimney, Tin Larrick.

The Kidwell-e Festival, which includes talks and entertainment, is the brainchild of writer Julian Ruck, who wanted to champion unknown ebook writers. 'It's about recognition,' he told Writers News in the March issue. 'The £10,000 prize will be given to an unknown author because the unknown author has been ignored by the literary establishment.'

The festival will take place on Sturday and Sunday at Ffos Las Racecourse in Kidwelly.
