The winning stories in the annual competition will be published in the RTÉ Guide
The competition is for original short stories of up to 2,000 words that have not been previously published or broadcast.
International entries are welcomed. All entries should be typed and the writer's name and contact details should appear on a separate sheet.
All entries must be sent by post to RTÉ Guide/Penguin Ireland Short Story Competition, PO Box 1480, RTÉ, Donnybrook, Dublin 4, or by email.
The closing date is 11 July.
