Prose and poetry are invited in English and Gaelic on the theme of homecoming
The winners in each category will receive cash prizes and be published in Northwords Now or on the Northwords Now website.
There is also an Unpublished Adult Award with a prize of a £300 reduction in the cost of Moniack Moor course fees.
All entries in The reading Room's Baker Prize competition will be considered for publication in a Reading Room anthology.
There is a fee of £5 for the first entry, and £3 for subsequent entries.
Only email entries will be accepted.
The closing date is 30 November.
