The quarterly literary journal dedicated to providing insights into living with mental illness invites poetry, short stories and flash fiction
Writers may submit work in any genre. Send poetry up to 40 lines, short stories between 1,500 and 5,000 words and flash fiction between 200 and 1,500 words. All submissions must in some way relate to mental illness, and be original and unpublished.
There is a payment of £15 per accepted short story, and £10 per accepted poem. There is currently no payment for flash fiction.
The closing date to submit to Issue 2 of Inside the Bell Jar is 15 September.
