This year's awards include a new category, the 2024 Equality Awards
The Pageturner Awards are for unpublished and emerging writers.
The categories are:
• The Equality Awards, which consist of the 2024 Culture Award for cultural story submissions, and the 2024 Phoenix Award for resilient writers overcoming challenges.
• Book award for published books. Open to any published or self-published book.
• Screenplay award. For completed scripts and screenplays.
• Writing award for unpublished manuscripts. For completed, unpublished manuscripts. This award now includes the Writing Mentorship Award for uncompleted, unpublished manuscripts and the Young Writer Award for writers aged between 18 and 25.
Prizes include mentoring, publishing packages, audiobook production, marketing and book promotion packages, writing and publishing courses and manuscript critiques.
All awards are for fiction and non-fiction. Entry fees start at £20.
The closing date is 31 May.
