Each entrant gets feedback in the competitions for poetry, short stories and novel openings
• The Grindstone International Poetry Prize has a grand prize of £500 and £50 for the runner up, with anthology publication for the shortlist. Enter poems up to 40 lines. The entry fee is £10.
• The Grindstone International Short Story Prize has a grand prize of £500 and £50 for the runner up, with anthology publication for the shortlist. Enter fiction in any genre up to 3,000 words. The entry fee is £10.
• The Grindstone International Novel Prize has a grand prize of £1,000 and £100 for the runner up, with anthology publication for the shortlist. A writer of the judges' choosing will be awarded a free place on a Curtis Brown Creative six-week online writing course. Enter the opening chapter of a novel, up to 3,000 words. The entry fee is £20.
The closing date is 28 September.
