Creative writing prize: The Séan Ó Faoláin International Short Story Competition

Win a €2,000 first prize in the annual contest from Muster Literature Centre

The international competition is for original, unpublished and unbroadcast short stories up to 3,000 words.

The first prize is €2,000, a one-week residency at Anam Cara retreat, a featured reading at the Cork International Short Story Festival and publication in Southword. There are second and third prizes of €500 and €200, and publication in Southword. This year's judge is Simon Van Booy.

The entry fee is €18.
