Win prizes for stories that follow on from a given first line
The Scribble Annual Short Story Competition 2022 is for original, unpublished short stories up to 3,000 words that start with the line: 'He had an uneasy feeling as he inserted the key.' He may be changed to 'she' or 'I'.
There are prizes of £100, £50 and £25. The winning entry will be published in Scribble.
The entry fee is £5 per story.
The closing date is 1 November.
