The new competition is aimed at young Scottish writers
The Ringwood Short Story Competition is for original, unpublished short stories up to 3,000 words.
The winner will receive £50 and the winner and two runners up will be published online.
To enter, writers must be aged 18 to 29 and either based in Scotland, or have previously resided in Scotland.
There is an entry fee of £2 per story.
The closing date is 30 November.
