Win £500 first prizes in the short story and poetry categories, and the new Rainbow Short Story Prize for writers over 70
Short story category entrants who are 70 or older will automatically be entered in the Rainbow Short Story Prize, which has been launched this year in response to the COVID-19 crisis which sees people of that age group in long-term lockdown.
Enter original, unpublished short stories up to 3,000 words and poems up to 40 lines. The prizes in each category are £500, £150 and £100. Winning and shortlisted entries will be published in an anthology.
The entry fee is £6 per story or poem, or three for £12.
The closing date is 31 October.
