This year's contest is for short fiction on the theme of 'Concrete'
The Outsideleft Short Story Competition is for short stories of art and culture that interpret the 'Concrete' theme in any way the writer chooses. Entries should be original, unpublished, and no longer than 1,000 words.
The winnner will receive £100 and a trophy created by artist Chantal Pitts. Two runners up will also receive trophies by Chantal Pitts.
Entry is free.
Each writer may enter one story.
The closing date is 31 May.
