The competition has categories for poetry and short stories
The National Association of Writing Groups (NAWG) Open Competition has prizes of £200, £100 and £50.
Enter short fiction between 500 and 2,000 words and poems up to 40 lines. All entries must be original and unpublished.
The entry fee is £5 per story or poem, or three poems for £10.
The closing date is 31 August.
